Front dest staff are unhelpful and could not smile to save their life. Tried to charge me for the room although I had paid already via this site. Keep copies of all canfirmations and your E voucher. I had Super Deluxe room in the Evergreen Wing.I was very pleased. Much better i was expecting, Staff was great!! nice clean room, good water pressure, warm and cold water worked perfect.Location was perfect aswell. Bars and restuarants very close, but no disturbance from bars when time for sleep. Just a few min walk down to 2nd road.I will surely stay at Areca again." |

The shower curtain is fine but water dips behind the curtain and then to the floor soaking the shower. (The real problem is the tub design or perhaps the tub has settled with an angle to the floor.) I asked the maid to summon an engineer who put in a thin bead of silicon caulk about 5cm long. That stopped the leak. Staff provided quick service." |

Rooms were very clean and well maintained, staff were very friendly and the 2 swimming pools clean with a paddling pool for the kids. Not being right in the middle of things was great but you are still only 5 minutes walk from 2nd Road. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, whether single or travelling with a family." |

Free wifi great breadfast. The whole hotel was quality.One minor fault I was in the front building and my friend booked in seperatly and was in the back of the resort, when I went to have breakfast with him I was told I had to go to the other restaurant and we could not eat together. I think this problem needs sorting.Dont let that put you off, I will certainly be staying again." |
