by Christine Suzanne Rowlands Visit Date:April 30, 2010 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "If you want an inexpensive hotel to do some shopping this is the place. The breakfast was good and changed daily. Ate at the restaurant one night which wasn t brilliant but was reasonably priced so you get what you pay for. The pool was nice and you could always get a chair. The staff were very nice and couldn t be more helpful. Hotel is a short walk to beach, markets or shops. I wouldn t pay full price for this hotel but at 1,200tb a night I d stay there again" |

by ng ching wai alan Visit Date:December 2, 2009 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "I was very surprised at the excellent service quality every staff had provided. Everyone was eager to help, attentive, polite and always with a smile on their face. The service is on par with, if not better than any four star+ hotel I have encountered. The hotel is conveniently located with lots of local shops within walking distance. However, the room and the facilities in this hotel is a let down. The first room we stayed in was modest and very close to the swimming pool. But large amount of water was leaking from the pipes inside the bathroom walls every time we turned on water by the sink or the shower. We requested to change rooms the next day. Reluctantly, we were offered a much larger room on the top floor but the room was quite run down. On the bright side, no leakage in the bathroom, everything in there worked fine. Another suggestion is bring your own shower gel. The gel the hotel provided was so thick that you can hardly squeeze a drop out of the bottle. The lounge chairs by the pool were also old and very uncomfortable that you couldn t place the back upright so you could rest your head and neck while reading. That cut short my sunbathing schedule a lot. All in all, I didn t enjoy my stay here, but to be fair, it is a value for money budget hotel for travellers." |
by Michael Alan Dean Visit Date:December 2, 2009 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Friendly hotel offering good value. Bathrooms are desperate for refurbishing. Stayed before and would stay again. Close to the beach and nightlife but far enough away to be quiet at night." |
by Laura Stæhr Tapdrup Visit Date:November 3, 2009 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Average hotel. Nice poolarea and poolbar. Its a 5 min. walk to the beach and more quiet than the hotels near the big roads. Close to Simon Cabaret and the Jungceylon shoppingmall. We didnt like Patong and would not go there again." |
