by Joakim Schaaf Visit Date:April 5, 2010 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "The beach was very good with lovely water also for snorkeling. The beach bar staff were nice but forgetful, but the drinks were very good and fresh. The restaurant staff were very nice but also sometimes forgetful. The food was very good but they had no ice cream. The beach bungalows were nice but we only had a fan and it was very hot. There were no organised activities on the beach. The wholeday boattrip around the islands was great but we should have had a guide that could speek english! The resort was overall a great experience but only for a few days." |
great! it was the third time we used Sawadee and it was very easy and prompt., March 21, 2010 by Alexander Visit Date:March 8, 2010 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "spent in the hotel two nights from 6th through 8th march. stayed in a relaxing bungalow with a fan (1800 BHT/day). wooden and a very cosy one. 1) very nice place , secluded and quite. only 2 min from the beach and you can enjoy snorkelling in the limpid and emerald water of Andaman sea!! a lot of fish and corals. also can meet urchins, about 50 meters from the beach , be careful and dont step on them. we were told to bring repellents but there was not any mosquito. you can rent a mask for 50 BHT/day, no fins are available. recommend to rent a canoe (we took the one for the whole day for special price 600 BHT) and took just a fascinating trip around the north half of Island. There is a message service, cant tell more since we didnt use it. 2) The staff was VERY friendly and ready to help you! after two days we wanted to prolong our booking , but the hotel was totally booked , the lady at the reception (its a pity we dont know her name ) was so kind and helped us with another hotel ,not far from this place and we spent there another 3 unforgettable days. 3) Rastaurant was alright ,they provide both Thai and Europenian food. Good options for Breakfast, there were Thai and American breakfast or you can choose something from the main menu (the breakfast was not included in the room price).Omelette with vegetable and cheese was very tasty. 4)Internet and WiFi are available from 6pm to 11 pm at the reception for rather reasonable price5) you should be aware that: electricity is available from 6 pm to morning; the cleaning in the rooms is not daily but every two days from your arrival; show water can be a bit salty. BUT all these things were just minor and actually we didnt take care of them. we did enjoy our staying at PP Relax Beach Resort and will recommend you!!" |
March 13, 2010 by Lina Mattsson Visit Date:March 4, 2010 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Mycket bra boende! Bra standard på bungalowsen, nära till stranden med mycket bra snorkling, fantastiskt trevlig personal. Ett väldigt lugnt och avslappnat ställe vilket var ett stort plus i våra ögon. Nackdelen är att läget gör att det är relativt dyrt att ta sig in till TonSai och valmöjligheten vad det gäller restauranger är därmed obefintligt. Kan varmt rekommenderas!" |
by Daniel Visit Date:February 23, 2010 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Would highly recommend Phi Phi Relax. Beautifully located on a quiet and private beach far away from the busy areas of Phi Phi. Nice and genuine bungalows, although hot without AC. Quite a romantic place, with candles on the beach and chill out music in the evenings. Mainly couples and some families with small kids (not disturbing though)." |
by randi kleis Visit Date:February 19, 2010 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Lovely place and especially great for children. I was travelling alone with my son and we both had a great time at Phi Phi Relax. Back to basics and to being together without TV playstation and.... super." |
by Inna and Nikita Jurkevich Visit Date:February 13, 2010 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "The beach and snorkeling off the beach was wonderful, a lot of corals and all sort of fishes . Some of the small and vicious dared to bite me, which I m sure they regreted afterwards. A lot of longtail boat traffic right accross the corals and swimming area was at times annoying. The resort trips were very reasonably priced and went to good locations. The restaurant was reasonably priced with good Thai food though the Seafood selection and preparation were a disappointment. The staff was kind of indifferent led by the example of the on site management. Be forewarned there are plenty of mosquitos in the bungalows. Bring a good repellant. And the bungalow shower water is brackish and not heated which is not that big of a deal for unspoiled travelers ready for adventure. Speaking of which, be sure to take a hike through the jungles to Ton Sai Bay. The hike takes about an hour and you ll be rewarded with a wonderba view. Hike back from Ton Sai is more difficult and is, sort of, test for fitness. Nice romantic place but no go back for me :)" |

by Hári Tibor Visit Date:February 8, 2010 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Very nice place, very relax very Phi-Phi. Good and relax hotel, beautiful see and beach, nice room without any luxury. Only cold water, a lot mosquitoes, and the beer double price, then in the village. I’ll back." |
by Yu Jia Visit Date:January 31, 2010 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "the hotel is really relax , everyday stay on the beach, looking those fish and seafood in sea, very funny life. not expense food, not expensive massage, very relax life. The staff are very nice and willing to tell a lot of tips. While the room is quite terriable, no electricity until 18:00, no TV, and need bath with sea water... but maybe that is what s called relax. It is still a nice place" |
by Kirsten Holst-Eklund Visit Date:January 21, 2010 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Tranquil and soft atmosphere. Well kept bungalows with moscito-problem.... A bit doubtful beach with fishes that attacked us during low tide!" |
by KERVERN Jean Pierre Visit Date:January 16, 2010 Room: Service: Facilities: "Super hôtel, très sympa, emplacement de rêve, plage privée, service sympa et décontracté, bon restaurant, bungalow confortable mais pas luxueux, bon rapport qualité prix" |
by Marius Peciulaitis Visit Date:January 9, 2010 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Bungalow was ocean view but ocean was barely visible through the first line bungalows. Anyway, bungalow was roomy, clean and cozy, had 2 fans and mosquito net (very useful in the area). Anyway, having A/Cs would be highly desirable as it was very hot during nights.Water in the shower was a bit salty and cold, but at least not stinky. Surrounding is very clean and cozy, lots of floral, quite long and scenic beach. Ton Sai village can be reached by walk in 40 mins through the mountainous woods, but its quite exhaustive.Cozy and quite big restaurant right on the beach.Nice surprise - boat was waiting to pick up us from the main port although we did not order it. Although it was not for free but it was a lot cheaper then taking a taxi boat." |
by Rahul Chowdhury Visit Date:January 8, 2010 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "We had a very pleasant stay at the resort. The resort staff were very friendly and humble. The room was clean and the view of the ocean in front was magnificent. The resort was very quite and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for privacy. We went for a half-day trip and it was worth every moment. Food is excellent. Thanks so much for making our stay special." |
